Affiliate disclosure

Some links in Trouble are affiliate links: accommodation via Booking.com (through CJ), tours via Viator, car rental via DiscoverCars and GetRentACar (through Travelpayouts), and eSIM plans via Airalo (through Travelpayouts). Trouble may earn a commission when you book or buy through them. Bookings, purchases, prices and their terms are the partner’s own.

Partners

• Hotels: Booking.com, through the CJ affiliate network. Hotel suggestions themselves come from Google Places.
• Tours and experiences: Viator, through its partner programme.
• Car rental: DiscoverCars, through its own affiliate programme, and GetRentACar, through Travelpayouts.
• eSIM data plans: Airalo, through Travelpayouts.
• Not affiliate: restaurants and place details (Google Places) and Open in Google Maps links. Trouble earns nothing from them.

What this means for you

• Affiliate links carry a tracking code so the partner knows the visit came from Trouble. If you book or buy, the partner may pay Trouble a commission.
• The booking or purchase is made with the partner, on the partner’s site, under its terms and prices. Trouble does not take payment for it, and cannot change or cancel it.
• Commissions do not decide what appears in your itinerary or how results are ordered. Hotels and restaurants come from Google Places, tours are ordered by rating and number of reviews, and you can sort and filter results yourself.
• Links written by AI are never used as booking links. Every partner link either comes from the partner or its affiliate network, or is built by Trouble in the partner’s own link format, and is checked before it opens.
• Once you leave Trouble, the partner and the affiliate network can set cookies and collect data under their own policies. See Cookies and the Privacy Policy.
